Located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Universal Lithographers (ULI), is a high-quality, multi-color commercial sheet-fed and digital lithographer, producing a wide range of graphic communications such as: catalogs, direct mail pieces, annual reports, posters, art reproductions, POS, POP, digital printing, lenticular reproduction, and wide format digital ink jet reproduction and finishing. Additionally, our bindery and finishing departments offer complete fulfillment and mailing services. Standard File Types
The most commonly supported publishing packages are Quark XPress, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), and Adobe Illustrator. However, many other desktop design applications are also supported. Or arrangements may be made to re-purpose your files to a more suitable format.
Universal Lithographer's History
1996 - MAN-Roland 700 6/C + Aqueous Tower Coater offset printing press installed.
1993 - ULI moved to present location. MAN-Roland 6/C + Aqueous Tower Coater offset printing press installed.
1989 - Polar computerized program paper cutter and a 30” X 50” Stahl folder with a 32-page plow folder attachment installed.
1987 - New production facility built. Heidelberg Cutter/Creaser die cutting press installed.
1986 - Multicolor 28” X 40” Miehle-Roland 6/C offset printing press installed.
1984 - A third addition was added to our facility.
1981 - Forty square feet was added to facility. First multicolor press, a 28” X 40” Miehle-Roland 4/C offset printing press installed. 30” X 50” Stahl folder installed.
1978 - A Wholenberg computerized program cutter, Muller Martini 6-pocket saddle stitcher with 3-knife trimmer and a 25” X 36 “ Miehle-Roland 2/C offset printing press installed.
1977 - Thirty foot addition was added to our facility.
1975 - ULI moved to larger facility on Wilgus Road in Sheboygan.
1972 - Very first of the new style Miehle-Roland offset printing press was installed.
1961 - ULI Founded by Donald F. Zastrow.
